Please observe the following guidelines carefully.  Entrants indicate with their entry via Soundcloud or Flickr or by email ( that they have read and understand the guidelines.

 Anyone is eligible to submit a song or artwork and all will be displayed online, but only entrants on the autism spectrum will be eligible for prizes. We will ask entrants to self-identify as ASD and will use an honor system.
 Songs do not have to be specifically about ASD.  Artwork can be on any subject or in any style. Really, in both cases it’s your creativity that counts! If the artist is not him or herself on the spectrum, the work should be about our inspired by ASD or the ASD community.
 Each contestant can submit up to three songs and three pieces of artwork.
 Song as submitted may be performed by the writer or by a group that does not necessarily include the writer or writers.  Awards, however, will be distributed to writer(s) only.
 The writer(s) retain all writing/publishing rights to the songs, and artists retain all rights to their artwork. All entrants agree, however, that the works they submit can be used by SingSOS to promote the contest, in an exhibition and as part of any video or other autism awareness materials created as a result of the contest.

It should be understood that the list of prizes represents a plan rather than a binding commitment. We hope to be able to award all of the following or more, but that depends on how our fundraising for prizes goes!

 All entrants will be recognized on the SingSOS website.
 The winning song will be professionally produced and recorded, using a version submitted by the artist or using musicians chosen by SingSOS, at our discretion. Our goal is to represent the song in thbe possible way. We will try to include the writer(s) as vocalists and instrumentalists but again, our goal is professional sounding record.
 The winning artwork will be displayed as part of a group exhibit or in some similar setting in New York City during April 2015.
 The winning song and possibly other winning songs, plus some art contest finalists, will be used in a public service autism awareness video.
 The winning songwriter and the winning artist will both receive $500 in cash, scholarship or donation to a charity selected by the winner.
 Runners up in both categories will receive prizes of $250, in cash, scholarship or donation.
